The Belvedere

The Prata d’Ansidonia viewpoint represents one of the most evocative panoramic spots in the area. Situated at an elevated position above the village, it offers a sweeping view of the hills of the Valle Subequana and the Gran Sasso mountain range. From this point, it’s possible to observe the agricultural landscape surrounding the village, characterised by cultivated fields, pastures, and rural tracks. The viewpoint is an ideal place for stops and moments of observation, where the silence and the open panorama provide an authentic perception of the Apennine territory. It also represents a symbolic space connecting the village to its landscape.
