The cooperative packs and sells pure saffron threads and powder worldwide.
The cooperative was founded on 7 April 1971 by the will of Silvio Salvatore Sarra with the aim of saving the saffron produced on the Navelli Plateau since 1200.
After the World Primacy in 1989 and the Golden Atom of 1991, the DOP product certification as “Saffron of L'Aquila” guarantees the best saffron in the world.
