Festival of Narrating Countries 2026

3rd Edition – 27 and 28 June 2026

A widespread route through Capestrano, Castelvecchio Calvisio and Calascio, where the villages become spaces for contemporary encounters and storytelling.

The festival was created to give a voice to what often remains hidden: communities, rural areas, and the everyday stories that build meaning and belonging.

Here, you don't just come to observe, but to participate, becoming a living part of a collective story.

Every street, every piazza, every viewpoint contributes to an experience that unites people, ideas, and visions.

Days when different languages coexist – nature, art, words, tradition – and authentic dialogues open up between those who live in these places and those who discover them for the first time. Thematic workshops, hiking experiences and community gatherings, and a residential training Bootcamp where experts, students, administrators and designers will come together to try and design a possible future for the towns.

A current look at what it means to inhabit, to stay, to return, to choose to live, to welcome, and to share.
Narrating Countries is this: a shared time, a human landscape before it is even a geographical one.
