From Ofena to Villa Santa Lucia, panoramic balconies over the Valley

An excursion to discover the most hidden corners of the upper Tirino Valley!

We start in the village of Ofena, Aufinum for the Romans, at the back of the mountain in a privileged and protected position in the Valley and from here, along a panoramic path, we first reach Garrufo, the small hamlet at the back of the Valley and then move on to Villa S. Lucia, another ancient and beautiful village in the park, sometimes encountered only in passing and never given the attention it deserves.

These villages, on the other hand, will amaze us with their genuine beauty and wealth of history and have much to tell us about art, nature and ancient traditions!

Departing from Ofena (550 m) and passing through Garrufo we arrive at Villa S. Lucia (890 m).

• Green light for little explorers aged 11 and up who are used to walking on mountain trails
• Minimum 6 participants
• Dogs allowed: Yes, on a leash.

Minimum equipment required: trekking shoes with appropriate socks (NO phantom socks), breathable layered clothing with long trousers, winter hat and bandana, neck warmer, wind and rain jacket, softshell or fleece, rucksack with full water bottle (1 litre), snacks and packed lunch. Optional poles (recommended).
