ROUTE DESCRIPTION

From the heart of Navelli, take a cart track that crosses the plateau to Collepietro, the symbolic gateway between Gran Sasso and Maiella. It then descends towards San Benedetto in Perillis, following mixed roads that tell of an ancient and silent landscape. The return is along a scenic dirt road that leads back to Navelli, closing a ring of stone, open horizons and villages suspended in time.
