A short path leads in about 15 minutes to the top of a hill to the north-west of Bominaco, where the narrow entrance to a consecrated grotto opens between the rocks. Inside, the semi-darkness highlights a golden stone altar, illuminated by a large natural window, while the cave, about twelve metres long and six metres wide, ends with a cistern. Small basins dug out of the rock serve to collect the dripping water and as stoups. On the pebble floor is a column with a plinth and an epigraphic slab, a central element of the cult. The worshippers attribute the footprints of the saint, also visible above the entrance, to the rocks and the vault of the cave.
