The Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie, often also identified as the Church of San Francesco, is located on the edge of the village of Calascio, along the road leading to the famous Rocca. Founded in 1594 by the Franciscan friar Father Mario da Calascio, it represents an important site of spirituality and culture for the area. The church preserves precious wooden altars, a painting of the Madonna delle Grazie, and works of art of great value, including a canvas attributed to Giulio Bradeschini. The complex also includes a charming frescoed cloister and an ancient, finely restored 17th-century wooden refectory. Today, the convent is managed by the Friends of Calascio association and hosts groups dedicated to training and spiritual research, keeping alive the place's vocation of hospitality.
